Abstract

This presentation will focus on a proactive approach to dealing with the use of alcohol and other drugs by deaf and hard of hearing students in the postsecondary setting. Signs and symptoms of chemical abuse as well as assessment, intervention, referral and aftercare techniques will be discussed.
