Abstract

Session participants will acquire new knowledge from a 1994 national survey of 329 alumni from 30 special colleges. More specifically, the audience will learn about respondents' educational attainments, employment status, and earnings. Conditions which either enhance or inhibit career mobility will also be identified. Members of the audience will be encouraged to add their viewpoints to increase the utility of these research findings to professional practices as well as program policies and services in career planning, preparation, and advancement.
