New PN2 Website: User-Friendly Gateway to PN2 Resources

The brand new PN2 website offers improved online training and e-learning products and better access to our evolving interactive Communities of Practice. You can also join the pn2 Discussion Forum (formerly the PEPNet listserv) here.
The site’s easy-to-use enhanced search feature locates resources by category, intended audience or keyword, so while bookmarks created prior to the site’s reorganization will no longer work, it is easier than ever to find and bookmark the PN2 resources you need.
The website debuts Access: The Fundamentals, the first of many planned online training modules. New titles will be announced as they are released, and will be available on the website.
The look, function and content of our site have changed, but the address has not.
You’ll still find the pn2 site at pepnet.org

Access: The Fundamentals is a fun, easy-to-take online tutorial that provides valuable information about the nature of hearing loss and appropriate accommodations for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Students who are D/HH are the narrators who discuss the various topics and provide guidance and information throughout the course.
Topics covered include:
- Audiograms,
- Degrees of hearing loss,
- Types of hearing loss,
- Cochlear implants,
- Impacts on learning and communication,
- Accommodations, and
- Legal responsibilities of schools and service providers.
The course is organized into five content sections, with a brief review quiz for each topic covered.
