The Office of Accessibility is seeking a candidate for the position of Specialist, Disability Program (Interpreter for the Deaf.)
The individual in this position will administer programs and services for students with disabilities. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: conduct intake services for students with disabilities which include determining eligibility for accommodations, types of accommodations needed, and orienting students to programs and resources available; provide sign language interpreting in a variety of classroom and campus settings; recommend appropriate assistive technologies for students with disabilities; conduct and/or participate in programs, workshops, and/or presentations concerning students with disabilities; and coordinate services and accommodations for students with various disabilities.
