Does anyone know deaf students/medical professionals using clear surgical  masks? We're aware that one company is no longer making them. Have these been successful for anyone? There seem to be mixed reviews.

Do you have more information about why that one company is no longer making them?

Has anyone heard of this new company: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OooaNwRET8s. I'm curious to hear if someone has tried it or if it's been approved for use by the FDA.

A couple interpreters told me they have experience using clear masks (I'm not sure which brand name) and they are ineffective because they keep fogging up. They currently use Stryker Hoods for interpreting in the operating room. This works well but is hard to take on/off and it has a fan inside that makes it harder to hear. How would we know if the masks don't fog up before purchasing them?
