A student is asking to be able to sign her answers to the interpreter, and then have someone write down her answers for her essay exams. Is this an appropriate accommodation?

What did you decide to do?

Under the direction of the DEAF EDUCATOR, there have been times I have done both; had the student write his/her own answers, then have the answers dictated to me or a third party like the Deaf Ed Consultant or a note taker. Always consult your Deaf Ed teacher or IEP for making this decision!!!!
