The “Achieving Goals” video series inspires student who are deaf or hard of hearing to become aware of diverse career opportunities, elevate their expectations, and set high personal goals. Career stories feature individuals who represent gender and cultural diversity, a variety of communication styles, and a range of work environments. Volume 5 focuses on successful individuals in unconventional careers: Jose Silva, auto mechanic; Lillian Garcia, interpreter supervisor; Lisa Fishbein, Miami Dolphins cheerleader; Matthew Baker, caterer; Rosa Lee Gallimore, performing artist; and Sean Kelly, shipwright.
