Developing English Skills and Knowledge Program
The Developing English Skills and Knowledge (DESK) Program includes a series of workshops and writing exercises designed to help high school students who are deaf and hard of hearing become better prepared to address academic expectations in the college setting. The lessons included in this publication may be replicated by faculty in mainstreamed programs or residential schools for the deaf. (Revised: 2009)
