This tipsheet is one in a series of publications that addresses services provided to students who are hard of hearing. High quality services feature a comprehensively accessible environment for students with disabilities through determination of eligibility, adherence to legal mandates, and the availability of various accommodations. A model program can have an instrumental role in the recruitment, transition, retention, and graduation success of students.
