Unrealized Dreams
This video profiles of individuals who are deaf and have additinal disabilities and risk factors which create obstacles to reaching individual potential, goals, and dreams. Systemic issues, family challenges, and educational/ vocational issues are addressed. A supplemental booklet is added to provide more indepth information related to the individual/ systemic/social/ economic needs of this population. Recommended for use in training of professionals in education, rehabilitation and others who will be working with persons considered deaf and 'low functioning', or at risk.
