A Closer Look: Signs for Sports
“A Closer Look: Signs for Sports” is an interactive CD and online interactive file containing signs that might be used when teaching or interpreting sports. Featuring terms used in football, basketball, baseball, track, and other sports, the CD includes video clips of each sign as well as definitions, terms used in context, and cues. Video, audio, and text are integrated to provide full access. The “A Closer Look” series of CDs is a great tool for interpreters, students who are deaf, staff in Disability Services offices, sign language instructors, professionals in the field of deafness, and those who wish to increase their sign vocabulary.
