Saba Centra is a web conferencing and online learning environment. Saba Centra integrates with Saba Learning and other learning management systems. Saba Centra provides the option to use Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), teleconference, or a mix of both in any session. In addition, Saba Centra has the option to use Video over Internet Protocol (VIP).
Saba Centra works with all browsers and is accessible on any Microsoft® Windows, Mac, or Linux PC operating system and is also available for the Apple iPhone and iPad.
Saba Centra streamlines the process of organizing and conducting classroom instruction, webinars, and online meetings, including enrollment, testing, class registration, and reminders. Classes are held live or may be archived for later viewing.
Class members located at a distance can go on a virtual web "safari" together, searching the Internet. Application content can be shared. Participants have the ability to mark up shared documents. Saba Centra has laughter and applause "buttons" for participants to indicate their reactions. And, a "door" icon that indicates who comes in or goes out of the videoconference.

Here are some of the access features and considerations for using Saba Centra that were discussed at PEPNet's Think Tank-2:
- Text chat is available and can be saved as a separate file (not with the archive).
- Offers "breakout rooms" where the interpreter goes with the student.
- Up to four multiple videos are available (one with a maximum of two, depending on the specified servers' capability).
- Video switching can be utilized in order to switch between students, instructors, and service providers.
- Captioning component can be used with TypeWell (specifically TypeWell Anywhere).
